Hamilton-Wenham Communications Center

 

 

 

 

The Hamilton Wenham Emergency Center is staffed twenty four hours a day, 365 days a year. The Center is staffed by five full time dispatchers and several part time dispatchers. The center is responsible for communications between the Hamilton and Wenham Police, Fire, and DPW departments. The Emergency Center is managed by Chief Dispatcher Ann Marie Cullen and is located within the Hamilton's new Public Safety Building at 265 Bay Rd. Hamilton.

 

Pictured below is the anouncement of the service agreement between the Towns of Hamilton and Wenham which formed the combined dispatch center in May of 1960.

Pictured below is the communications unit which was located on the second floor of the old Public Safety Building.

The building has since been demolished, but some of the equipment pictured below was refurbished and utilized in the new building.
